This is a 4-week block. The class is a at 7.30pm for 45 mins and is held at Lymm Youth Club (opposite the Brewery Tap).
Pilates is a form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength. Pilates concentrates on posture, balance and flexibility. In Pilates the chance of injury is much lower than with other more strenuous forms of exercise.
Pilates also focuses on the mind-body connection. While doing the various exercises your mind needs to be constantly aware of your breathing and the way your body moves. All exercises in this class begin at beginner level and progressions are offered so you are continuously challenged as you progress. This class moves at higher pace than a Beginner class as it is assumed you already have some experience of Pilates.
Whilst the classes are not suitable for pre/post-natal or those with complex bone health conditions, those with general lower back pain, injury related pain or age related joint pain will generally be able to take part. If in doubt, please get in touch before booking.
BOOKING CONDITIONS:
(1) All classes are payable in advance to secure your place.
(2) Classes may only be booked as a block, not as individual sessions. Any classes missed in a block cannot be refunded separately.
(3) If you miss a class, please contact me directly to arrange a ‘make-up’ class. This is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. All make up classes must be within the same block and cannot be rolled over.
(4) Bookings are not transferable. If you are booking on behalf of someone else, please let me know their name and email address.
(5) If you are a coming to a block of classes for the first time, you will need to complete an Enrolment Form, which should be emailed back to me before your first class – or handed in to me when you arrive for your first class. The information on this form enables me to be aware of any injuries or other limitations so that I can ensure that you are working safely in the class.
