For the past 20 years I have been a competitive runner and triathlete competing in all distances from 5k to Marathon distance as a runner and from sprint to Ironman distance as a Triathlete. I have also represented my age group in triathlon for Great Britain at the European Championships in 2010. 10 years ago I discovered Pilates and the benefits that can be gained to improve overall fitness and well-being regardless of age and level of fitness. So 7 years ago I decided to train as a Pilates instructor to preach what I had so long been practicing!
Experience Pilates
Pilates is a form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength. This helps to improve general fitness and overall well-being.
-
It tones your muscles
Pilates leaves you with “long, lean muscles,” – it strengthens and stretchs your limbs in one go.
-
It gives you a rock-solid core
Pilates moves require you to keep proper alignment and challenge your stability to stay balanced, which helps fire up your midsection.

A strong back, glutes, and abs won’t just look good but are key for nailing perfect posture.
